Ruffled Feathers use puppets and masks in our workshops as exciting, creative tools that allow our participants to express themselves with confidence, bringing to life wonderful characters that then go out to enjoy the festival/event with their proud maker.
Ruffled Feathers have a special focus on using household packaging to create these unique puppets or masks. This "plastic engineering" is an artform in itself! Our milk bottle dragons , junk puppets, birds and masks are much admired and it is amazing how long they last!
Workshops vary from setting to setting but our standard formats are as follows:
2 hr sessions making simple puppets or masks. (these can go on throughout the day or weekend)All day drop in sessions, usually from 10.30 - 4.00pm. These are great if finished off with a parade with our giant puppets and muscians.Ruffled feathers are very flexible and are happy to tailor our puppet and mask making workshops to suit your needs - please use the link above to contact us to discuss our formats further and to find out about our fee's.
