minibeasts shadow puppets

 In October 2011 Ruffled Feathers worked with the P1's of Balmoral Primary School, Galashiels to produce minibeast shadow and rod puppets. At the end of 2 1/2 days we put on a short and simple performance for the P2's. Great fun was had by all!

This was a challenge for the P1's who took on the tasks eagerly, lots of scissor use, drawing round templates and counting of legs etc.

As the shadow screen was set up in the classroom, there was plenty of scope for free playing and confidence building.
